“The support of The Wilson Foundation helped the PERFORM! Program be equally accessible to every corner of Nova Scotia. From Yarmouth to Cape Smokey, students were able to receive instruction in theatre, dance and choir in part because of the generous support of the Wilson Foundation.  Just one small drop in the longstanding commitment the Wilson Foundation have made over many years to the artistic landscape of this province.”
— Pamela Halstead, PERFORM! Coordinator

PERFORM! is an Artists-in-the-Schools program supported by the Department of Education and Arts Nova Scotia and a number of corporate sponsors and donors. The program offers theatre, dance and choral workshops and performances lead or performed by professional artists. It is a joint program of Theatre Nova Scotia, Dance Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Choral Federation.

Started in 1999, PERFORM! brings together professional performers with teachers and students in public and private schools across Nova Scotia. Its primary goal is to enhance learning by involving Performing Artists in the delivery of Drama, Music, and Dance curricula.
